Frequently Asked Questions About Becoming a CONNEX Vendor
There is no fee to submit a Founding Vendor application. Businesses and service providers in Antigua and Barbuda can apply to join the CONNEX marketplace and have their application reviewed through our vendor verification process. Fees do apply for transactions completed via the CONNEX marketplace.
CONNEX welcomes applications from eligible local businesses and service providers across Antigua and Barbuda. The marketplace is being developed to support businesses across multiple industries, allowing approved vendors to showcase products or services, connect with customers and participate in a centralized local marketplace. All vendors must meet applicable business, registration and platform requirements.
No. Submitting an application does not automatically guarantee approval as a CONNEX vendor. Each application is reviewed as part of our vendor verification process to help maintain a professional and trusted marketplace for customers, businesses and service providers across Antigua and Barbuda.
To complete your Founding Vendor application, you will need basic information about your business, your products or services, contact details and business registration information. You will also be asked to upload a clear copy of a government-issued ID for the owner or authorized representative and a copy of your business registration or certificate.
After your application is submitted, the CONNEX team will review your business information and verification documents. Your application will remain pending while it is being reviewed. If approved, CONNEX will contact you with the next steps for vendor onboarding and preparing your business profile for the marketplace.
CONNEX is targeting an October 2026 launch in Antigua and Barbuda.
CONNEX is designed as a multi-vendor marketplace for a variety of local businesses and service providers. Categories may include beauty services, cleaning, plumbing, baking, rentals, event services and other approved industries, with additional categories added as the marketplace grows.
Approved CONNEX vendors will have opportunities to increase their visibility, present their business professionally, connect with local customers and participate in marketplace promotions. Depending on the vendor's category and plan, CONNEX may also support customer inquiries, bookings, orders, featured placements and other promotional opportunities.
Yes. CONNEX is being developed to help customers discover local products and services, communicate with vendors, submit inquiries and, where applicable, place orders, make bookings and complete transactions through the marketplace.
Yes. To apply, a copy of your Business Registration Certificate is required. You will also need to provide your business registration number and other basic business information as part of the CONNEX vendor verification process.
